Someone can be a good leader but not be a very good manager and vice-versa. Leadership is creating a vision for others to follow, establishing corporate values and ethics, and transforming the way the organization does business in order to improve its effectiveness and efficiency. On the other hand, Management is the carrying out of the leadership's vision. There are four functions of management: Planning, organizing, leading and controlling. However, all employees can lead meaning that you do not have to be a manager to be a leader. It is very interesting to study both.
