Sooraj, the defendant was employed by Google to move and work in Rwanda indefinitely as a management consultant. After 6 months, The HR manager at headquarters in US, sent an email to Sooraj (BUT TO A WRONG EMAIL), that he needs to go to Canada to work on another project for two months. The HR assumed Sooraj received the email and Sooraj also never saw the email and didn't go to Canada for the project. Because no on went to manage the project in Canada, Google lost $2.3 Billion. Google has taken Sooraj to court to make him pay since they believe they had a contract with Sooraj. Advise Google on their chance of success in court.
