Sorella Tarella is a fashion boutique owns by Mr. Sorta and managed by her partner, Ms. Ella. It offers a variety of stylish men and women clothes, fabric and accessories. Many customers come to Sorella Tarella boutique with their family and friends who love new and trendy fashion design. The boutique runs well and its daily sales are growing day by day as the customers are very satisfied with all of its fashion products and good staff service. Currently Sorella Tarella hires five boutique staff to help their business operation. However, due to the recent pandemic of Covid-19, Sorella Tarella is facing a considerable decrease in their sales as customers are afraid to go out shopping and come to the boutique. Therefore, Mr. Sorta and Ms. Ella have decided to offer online shopping where customer can place an order for their products and it will be specially delivered to customers place. In order to realise the new online business operation, Sorella Tarella has to hire six new part time delivery workers to ensure the ordered products reach customers on time. Thus, with the new changes in their business operation, they seek your help as a system analyst to analyse and design a new database system which include all entities including associative entity for Sorella Tarella to record customer orders efficiently. The followings are business rules involved in processing Sorella Tarella customer orders: A customer may make many orders at Sorella Tarella through phone calls. Each order is taken by a staff who records the order number, order date, customers name, phone number and address as well as product ordered. An order must contain at least one ordered product but each product can be ordered many times while stock lasts. Once the order details are taken from the customer, the total payment amount, including delivery service charge are calculated and printed in the order slip. The ordered product together with the order slip are then delivered to customer place by a part time delivery worker. In order to reduce the mileage cost, a part time delivery worker may deliver more than one order concurrently.
