Jana Hunt (BA '94 Merchandise Marketing) has previous experience with The North Face as the former Global Design Director and currently works as an Executive Coach and Leadership Consultant. She created her own degree at CSUEB in merchandise marketing that combined classes in art and business, a move she says helped her career goal of becoming an executive in the fashion design industry. Starting with an internship at Hayward-based Mervyn's, Jana was offered a design position after graduation. In this session, Jana sopke of her experiences as a woman in senior leadership and managing creative teams. She also "taught" the class a module on communications with a focus on Cuddy's power poses.

She is also a CSUEB alumnus and an advisor for Women in Leadership.
