Speaking of modern day technological advancements, an interesting Supreme Court case concerning the Fourth Amendment (unreasonable search and seizure) and technology is Kyllo v. United States (2001). The issue was whether it constitutional for the government to search a home without a warrant, not by entering the home, but by using the thermal imaging technology.
