Starlim is specialized in injection molding production for small silicone parts and is the world largest processor of liquid silicone. These parts can be found in cars, baby products, and kitchen items which are visible and some are installed invisibly.

The major concern about the project is the maintenance process of the machinery, where if there is any problem with the equipment then the only way to keep it back to running is by getting it serviced in Austria. This process leads to time investment, as they need to ship it to that country and it takes time for the whole process of servicing, shipment time, loading, and unloading the equipment. Cost investment is the amount of money invested in transportation and maintenance. Break down in the production line, which lead to pressure on another machine to complete the target.

We have gathered information about how production is done both in Austria and London branch, apart from sending the equipment from London to Austria what is the alternative solution for such a case. For example, can we look for equipment that is manufactured in London or around Canada or find a technician by outsourcing who can fix any maintenance issues or by making precautions that will help in reducing the technical issues as well as set up a training base in London so that the employees are trained enough to get the equipment repaired?
