STATA:

I have a dta file with 20 variable for a survey. The survey has two waves of questioning and has been included in the dataframe as a variable called; initial and the other wave is called recalled. I want to make two dataframes from the original. One with values only in the first wave of the survey, and the other with only values in the second wave of the survey. But I do not know how. Can you please provide a syntax of the code needed to accomplish this.
