2. You are interested in investigating if young boys spend more hours sleeping than young girls. You have decided that to best observe this phenomenon, you will ask a random sample of parents in the public school system to complete your survey. You accrue the data and analyze.
3. You are interested in the relationship between marijuana use and its impact onmemory.You suspect that small doses of marijuana have no positive effect on the ability to recall information. You decide to ask 500 to join the study. You assign one group to smoke two marijuana cigarettes (yes, I know.... a joint) a day. The other group is asked to smoke two non-marijuana cigarettes per day.After a period of 2 days, 2 weeks, and then again in 2 months, you assess their memory on a Recall test and record their scores.
4. Dr. Connellbelieves that there is a relationship that may exists between mood and the number of sunlight hours that a person receives. He has decided to ask people to record their mood and then asks them how many hours that they have been outside in sunlight that day.
