Sample Demographic Characteristics Ethnicity: Hispanic 78%, Non Hispanic 22% CCS Age: 14- 24 yrs old (M = 19.35) CCS Sex: Male 40%, Female 60% Living at home: Yes 85.3%; No 14.7% Years since diagnosis: 2-12 yrs (M = 7.79) Hospital: CHLA 89.7%, Miller Childrens LB 10.3% . *Health Insurance: Yes 61.8% No 38.2% EXAMPLE WRITE UP: This sample comprised of teenage and young adult childhood cancer survivors (N = 50). The participants ranged in age from 14 to 24 years old (M = 19.35) and split by gender (Males 40%, Females 60%). Seventy-eight percent of the sample identified as Hispanic, whereas 22% of the sample were non-Hispanic. They were treated at two area hospitals: CHLA (89.7%) and Miller's Children's LB (10.3%), and remission rates ranged from 2 years to 12 years (M = 7.79) prior to diagnosis. Most participants lived at home (85.3%)* and over one-third did not have health insurance (38.2%). *NOTE: if a variable is reported as Yes/No, then you only have to use one percentage. The other is automatically assumed to be 100% minus that value.
