Step 1: Review any articles on Project Management KPIs and decide what are the most important KPIs you want to track for a project.

Step 2: Create a document using any format (i.e. Word, Excel, Tableau) and list those KPIs and why you chose them.

• There is not magic number of KPIs for a project a simple one could have 3 -5 and a big multi-year project could have 25 - 30.
• You don't need to show data, just the KPI measure name, description, and why you chose it.
