It would be an app connected wirelessly, via innovative technology, to sensors that will detect impact participants playing sports are receiving and monitor their overall health mid-game. The app would be called SportsGuard.

This product is designed with the wellness of all its users in mind. Because of the increasing research being found on the effects of high-impact sports on athletes (ranging from concussions to CTE) it is imperative that new technology be created to monitor and assess the potential harm these players are facing, and to help diagnose any potential problems early on before it is too late and the damage has been done. The app will be able to monitor through sensors connected to the equipment of the players, umpires, coaches, and more, and will monitor their overall heart rate BPM, hydration levels, vital nutrient levels, and also the impact being received throughout active gameplay.

I can differentiate this product from others on the market because it would be a completely new technology, in a space where there is few (if any) competitors. Utilizing SWOT analysis, the opportunity for growth in this space is major. This app would be viable because any person of any skill or age level could benefit from its usage. SportsGuard would be the first and best of its kind. In assessing threats, there are little with regard to other product on the market. The strength of SportsGuard is its appeal to many as health and well-being have become increasingly more important and emphasized during these times in all aspects.
