It expects to grab the interest of regular customer base with a wide variety of cakes and pastry products. The business plans for a strong market position in the city. Cake cottage aims to offer its products at a reasonable price in order to meet the demand for the lower and middle-income group. After discussing about the basic details about its mission statement, ideal customers, organizational charts, global reach and business goals, they decided to think about the followings:

Corporate Culture: types of employee behaviors, such as organizational citizenship.

Leadership Philosophy: Philosophy on leadership and how will employees be managed on daily basis?

Job Descriptions: A job description for each team member.

Job Specifications: A job specification for each job, listing the skills and other credentials and qualifications needed to perform the job effectively.

Training Employees

What sort of training, if any, will your employees need once they are hired? How will you provide this training?

Compensation: Employee wages/salaries. What would be the wages or salaries for each job? Why?

Incentives: What incentives to use to motivate workforce?

IT Resources: What kind of IT resources will such business require?

Customer Services; How will this information technology be used to keep track of customers and potential customers?

Cost of Doing Business: What are the expected costs of doing such business for one year? Equipment, supplies, salaries, rent, utilities, and insurance are just some of these expenses.

Expected Revenue: How much will customer pay for products offered by Cake Cottage? How many expected products can be sold in one year?

Income Statement and Balance Sheet: How would a Balance sheet and Income statement for cake cottage look like?

Floor Plan: What does it look like when a customer walk through the door?

Raw Materials and Supplies: Explain what types of raw materials and supplies will Cake Cottage need to run. How will it produce its goods or services? What equipment it needs? What hours of operations?

Quality Assurance: What steps will Cake Cottage take to ensure that the quality of the product or service stays at a high level? Who will be responsible for maintaining such quality of the product or service (or both)?
