Students have a project (for 2nd year robo) that requires them to build an autonomous robot that would deliver an electric charger (already in hand) to a charger port (think of an electric car and it being charged; like the tesla autonomous charger) that is about 1 meter away. The port can be placed anywhere as long as its 1meter away from the robot and has 4 degrees of freedom (x,y,z,and with some angle in the xy axis).
Any ideas on how to build it?
Should we use arduino or raspberry pi? (the students knowledge is very limited; the course is meant to be an introductory course to robo)
Any design concepts?
Any tips/suggestions/thoughts?
