The partial tables below provide information on smoking status and cervical cancer status for those women with 0 - 1 sexual partners and for those with 2 or more.

1) Compute and interpret the crude OR, RR, and RD and their 95% confidence intervals for developing cervical cancer comparing smokers to non smokers (using built-in software).
2) Test the null hypothesis of independence of cervical cancer and smoking status based on the pooled data (i.e., ignoring number of sexual partners).
3) Perform a test of homogeneous association for each measure of association to determine whether the number of sexual parterns modifies the association between smoking and cervical cancer. For each measure, state the conclusion of the test.
4) Report and interpret the estimated Inverse-Variance adjusted RD, RR, and OR and the 95% confidence intervals for the association between cervical cancer status and smoking status, adjusting for number of sexual partners.
5) Based on your results above, should we report the crude or adjusted estimates for the association between cervical cancer status and smoking status?
