Study Unit 15 Partnerships: Formation and Income

o 15.1 Partnership Formation and Tax Year 73%

o 15.2 Partners Taxable Income 89%

Study Unit 16 Partnership Transactios and Book-to-Tax Differences

o 16.1 Partners Dealing with Own Partnership 100%

o 16.2 Treatment of Partnership Liabilities 100%

o 16.3 Distribution of Partnership Assets 60%

o 16.4 Reconciling Book and Taxable Income 71%

The area for the most improvement needed within Topic 7 is in study unit 16. Specifically, sub-unit 16.3 Distribution of Partnership Assets, 16.4 Reconciling Book and Taxable Income. My approach for this week was to listen to the audio lectures for each of the study units prior to taking the diagnostic quiz. I now plan to watch the videos and follow along with the printed copy of the study unit outlines, prior to taking the adaptive quizzes for each study unit. I also find it helpful to review all the focus questions for each of the sub-units prior to taking the adaptive quizzes. I plan to take the adaptive quizzes as many times as needed until I receive a score of 80% or better. This system seems to be working for me since I still have an A in the class.
