Scenario: Travel

As the majority of the employees are required to travel frequently for business, this site should have all the answers for possible questions: preferable vendors, spending allowance limits, required arrangements for traveling abroad. Employees should be able submit the expense report after their business trip. Currently accounting (Finance department) is processing those in excel spreadsheets but they want to move this process online for audit purposes and approval process improvement. Operations wants a frequently asked questions section for each Country that Best Occasions works in. This should be read-only by low-ranking employees but editable by high-ranking employees as Visas, travel advisories or vendors will change as time goes on. (Side Note: the Travel sub-site is NOT a website used to book a flight, hotel or car. It is a resource for employees to use to help them when they have travel. It will help them with suggesting who to contact when flying to another country, which airline the company prefers,which hotel chain does the company have discounts with, which local vendors can setup the event for them, etc. The Travel sub-site is not a department but a sub-site to help employees with travelling to destinations. Travel is very important to the Operations and Finance departments to ensure employees are using the correct Vendors, arranging the correct Visas or documentation for travel and spending within acceptable tolerances while away.
