Summarize the story below

A Lot of Weeding Masa walked slowly toward the house, stopping now and then to snip off fading flowers, or to pull out weeds growing between the plants. But there were very few weeds around, because Yuki had spent many hours of her two-week visit weeding every one of Masa's flowerbeds. Masa was a little puzzled by this. She wondered if Yuki had spent so much of her time weeding outside because she wanted to avoid having any conversations with her. "But Yuki must have wanted to see me", Masa told herself, "because she came to visit in the last week of June, as soon as her university had finished for the summer." However, Yuki was now saying that she couldn't stay much longer. She said that she had to get a part-time job to earn some money. Furthermore, she also needed to get back to college in order to use the photography studio at the university and the college library. "Why do you have to read books, or even go to college to study art?" Masa had asked her. "Can't you just learn doing it on your own? The great artists didn't need to go to university." "Things were different then", said Yuki. They didn't just teach themselves everything, you know; they all trained under experts." Grandma was silent for a moment. Then, she said, "I was thinking you could leave college and live with us. You can still do art here. This is a nice, quiet place to live. Why not?" "But how would I support myself?" "You wouldn't have to worry about that. Grandpa's pension is enough for all three of us. But if you still want to earn some extra money, you can always give some art lessons." "But I don't want to spend a long time looking at kids' drawings." "Well, you can coach the track team at the village school instead. You always were good at athletics." "I don't want to coach track teams." Masa continued, What will you do after you graduate, anyway? Will you become a teacher somewhere else then?" "Grandma, I don't know." Yuki sighed. "I just started college. It was my first semester. I don't know what I'll do afterward." "What is the use of going to college if you don't know what you're going there for?" "Grandma, I just want to study art now. I have no idea about four years from now, or even next year. I don't want to think that far ahead." Masa was going to say that it was not good enough to live like this with no plan, but she never got the chance, because Yuki suddenly stood up and put on her hat saying: I'm going to the garden; I need to finish the weeding." Yuki was never rude to Masa during her two-week visit. Even when she disagreed with Masa, Yuki's face was always full of patience. But something was wrong. Masa felt a strain when they talked, and she was sure that Yuki felt it too. From What Now? By Kyoko Mori
