Summary: Children around 60 months, show increasing balance and control when holding still, run for a long period of time, jump up and down, walk with balance, as they show also a big increase in gross motor skills (such as stopping and changing direction while running, walking and running backwards, forwards and sideways, hopping, jumping and skipping and galloping) and fine motor skills (writing, cutting, drawing...)
