Super Gas Corporation owned and operated hundreds of gas stations around the western United States. They hired Terry's Tank Corporation to to dig up and replace some underground tanks at one of its gas stations in Seattle, Washington. While doing the work, a customer fell into a deep, open and unprotected hole that had been dug by Terry's Tank Corporation and she was seriously injured. The hole was left open and unattended by Ozzie Oblivious, an employee of Terry's Tank Corporation who also happened to be drunk at the time. The customer sued both Super Gas and Terry's Tank for her injuries on a theory of tort liability. What will be the result (on liability) and why?
