SuperFASTnets is a private ltd. company having its expertise in provision of network solutions to large companies and enterprises. SuperFASTnets is now planning to establish an Internet Service Provider (ISP). You have been approached from the company to design and establish an email system, which the company want to provide to their customers as integrated service with their internet service packages. The email service would be provided in two different version i.e. a basic package and a premium package. Basic package would be offered with all the internet/data packages free of cost, whereas user would have to pay a nominal extra cost if they opt for the premium email service. As a network engineer you have to analyse and evaluate the situation and the market and provide a design. While designing the email system/service you need to add different features in the email system. You are required to provide the design for complete email system (including User world features and transfer world systems). Provide the details about the following technical aspects;

Transfer world [5 Marks] a. Details about the message handling services (MHS) for the proposed email systems including message submission agent (MSA), message transfer agents (MTA) and message delivery agent (MDA). b. Brief details about message transfer protocol and its prominent features.

User world [5 marks] c. Provide details about the Message user agent (MUA) include essential word processing processing and other formatting features. d. What TCP/IP suite protocols could be selected for this domain? Justify your answer. e. Integration with other relevant service and applications.

Basic package features [3 marks] f. Write down the specification of features which you think should essentially be part of the Basic package Premium package features [3 Marks] g. List all the features that you would like to include in the premium deal of the email system.

Block diagram [4 Marks] h. Include a hand drawn fair and appropriately labelled block diagram of the proposed email system and include the image of it in this section.
