The supply chain of a textbook includes the developed script from the author - publishers - distributors - retailers - customers. Publishers will have to coordinate with various levels of suppliers including authors to produce the book. The production companies will have inputs such as inks, commercial grade printers, papers, warehouses, equipment, human resources and distribution trucks. They will also include a distribution network from the production site to retailers (Amazon). Amazon will control the supply chain from their warehouse to my home.
