Suppose you are affiliated with a company working on carbon capture and storage (CCS) project. Company is planning to inject carbon dioxide (CO2) in depleted sandstone reservoir. The key challenge is to optimize the storage capacity of the reservoir by controlling the density of injected CO2. For this, you are assigned the task to estimate density of CO2 as a function of pressure and temperature (which ultimately impact density and thus the storage potential). The key task in the project is to model the phase behaviour of CO2 (strictly speaking density of CO2) by using the three different the Soave-Redlich-Kwong (SRK) and the Peng-Robinson (PR) to model the phase behaviour under a wide range of pressure and temperature conditions. Temperature = 290 350 K; Injection pressure = 2.75 MPa to 69 MPa The use of MATLAB (or other programming language) is desirable. Thus in summary, you will perform following tasks:

1. Estimate CO2 density as a function of pressure (2.75 MPa to 69 MPa) and temperature (290 350 K) using PR and SRK equations of state.

2. Compare results of part (1) with each other and also with the NIST database and comment on any differences. Considering the NIST database as the most accurate, provide Pressure and Temperature range where PR or SRK works better.

3. Present the phase diagram (pressure vs. volume)
