Suppose you have a talented project supervisor temporarily working for you on a  client contract who is due to be transferred back to his regular job. Although you could  manage your routine matters without him but you know he will be transferred back to his  regular department. But due to pandemic he might lose his job due to lack of work and you  are also familiar with his dire financial situation. You feel it is important that his talent be  kept on the company payroll, although keeping him on the contract will increase expenses  unnecessarily.
