To elicit human knowledge requirements from organizational stakeholders, you may use one of three main interactive approaches. Interviewing, joint application design (JAD), and surveying people through questionnaires are the three approaches. These strategies have a lot in common, despite their differences in implementation. Working with and listening to people in the company to understand their experiences with technology through a set of carefully composed questions is the foundation of their mutual assets.

Each of the three interactive methods for collecting information has its own set of guidelines for communicating with users that you must obey These structured methods, if pursued, would assist in the proper design and execution of interviews, JAD seminars, and questionnaires, as well as promote informative data analysis. An upcoming chapter will cover unobtrusive approaches (sampling, inquiry, and analyzing a decision maker's actions and physical environment) that do not necessitate the same level of interaction between analysts and users. You will get a more complete picture of the organization's knowledge needs by combining immersive and non-intrusive approaches.
