a) Range (6 points - 3 each)

b) Interquartile range (10 points - 5 each)

c) Mean (10 points - 5 each)

d) Median (6 points - 3 each)

c) Variance (Correct values in columns 2,3,5 and 6 earns 0.25 points for a total of 18pts. See

table below)

d) Standard Deviation (5 points - 2.5 each)

e) Construct a Box Plot (10pts -5 each. Put them beside each other for ease of comparison)

f) Describe the distribution of education for each gender using the numbers you've calculated. Include a discussion of which group has more education, more diversity in education levels, and so on in your response (remember to provide evidence). Is the background statement supported by the data? What does the data imply is going on based on your findings? Simply put, I'm asking you to provide some analysis by explaining why the findings are the way they are. (10pts - 5 each)
