\table[[3 Points,2.3 Below is single play, simultaneous move game with perfect information.]]
The Army and Navy recruiters in New York City are each facing the same one-time decision: should they set up a recruiting booth at New York Comic Con 2024 or not?
Their payoffs are influenced by two factors. One is the impact on their recruitment mission, the other is the cost of setting up a booth (renting the space, purchasing swag, devoting recruiters, etc.).
If both branches choose not to set up a booth, they both attract a moderate number of recruits, and both payoffs go up by 10.
If one branch chooses to set up a booth and the other does not, the branch that sets up a booth attracts a large number of recruits, and their payoff goes up by 30. The branch that does not set up a booth only attracts a few recruits, so their payoff goes up by 2.
If both branches choose to set up a booth, they evenly split the recruitable population, and both payoffs go up by 16.
If either branch sets up a booth, the cost of doing so reduces their payoff by 9.
