Take any two-digit number, where the digits are not the same like 44, or 77. Reverse the digits, to get a second number. One number will be larger than the other number, so now subtract the larger number take away the smaller number. Do this with three or four examples. Come up with a conjecture about the pattern to your answers. Then use deductive reasoning to prove your conjecture.
