- Utilize the provided Excel spreadsheets containing manual data collection, both current and historical, to gain insights into existing processes.
Deliverables: BPMN Activity Model:
- Develop a clear and concise layout illustrating the relevant business processes crucial for financial statement development.
- UML Class Diagram: Make a UML class diagram serving as a reference point for AIS implementation.
- Recommendations for Successful Implementation: Provide strategic recommendations on how YNF can effectively implement the AIS.
Implementation in Access: Implement the UML class diagram using Microsoft Access. Include screenshots to demonstrate the implementation process.
Profitability Assessment: Analyze the profitability of YNF's operations and offer specific recommendations aligned with their business processes.
Submission Guidelines:
- Show a comprehensive report detailing your findings (including images of BPMN models and UML class diagrams), recommendations, and any supplementary materials.
- Ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism in both content and presentation.
Evaluation Criteria
- Documentation of process activities (10%)
- Uses business process modeling notation (BPMN)
- Inclusive of at least 5 business processes
- Provides a brief description of each process

- Show me anintegrated data model to serve as a reference point for AIS implementation (10%)
- Utilizes UML Class Diagram and the REA framework (e.g. inclusive of tables and multiplicities)

- Demonstration of evidence-informed recommendations on how YNF can effectively implement an AIS (10%)
- Utilizes BPMN and UML Class Diagram to identify at leastthree potential improvements to business processes by the efficient use of information technology and/or potential areas where YNF is exposed to unnecessary risks in his business
- Analyzes YNF's data to verify at leastone of the previously identified areas of improvement and/or efficiency
