Tala, a 45 years old woman living in Tripoli, decides to buy an apartment next to her building to lease it and make some extra money.
She finds out that her neighbor Rami owns a suitable apartment and is offering it foe rent. Tala and Rami enter into a contract which states that Rami shall sell the apartment to Tala for 90,000$.
A couple of days after paying the agreed upon price and receiving the keys to the apartment, Tala has a terrible car accident which resulted in him suffering from post-traumatic amnesia; a state of confusion and memory loss.
Rami finds out about the incident and decides to file a lawsuit against Tala requesting a discharge of the contract on the basis that Tala does not fulfill the Legal Capacity condition imposed by the law.
Rami files the above lawsuit at the Commercial Court of Beirut.
