TAN booked a ticket with airticket to fly him from Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne on the 1 March 2020. The ticket was booked far in advance, paid for and the flight confirmed. On 1 March, however the flight was cancelled, and the airline was unable to give TAN an alternative flight on that day. Consequently, TAN was forced to put up a night in Kuala Lumpur. The next afternoon, he flew to Melbourne on another airline. On reaching Melbourne, he found that he had lost a business opportunity which resulted in him losing a considerable sum of money because he arrived in Melbourne too late.
