Examine the website of your chosen organisation and provide a critical evaluation of the following: How well it caters to the needs of its users (whether partner organisations, or customers) The general principles of a well-designed HCI (human computer interface) as defined by Neilson (1998) Model of user-friendly HCI How well the website follows the general principles of HCI by Neilson (1998).

Task 3 - 20 Marks

Organisations are generally required to be environmentally friendly, and comply with the social, legal and ethical considerations. In this context, critically evaluate the following: The policy of your chosen organisation to fulfil the said requirements The way the relevant information systems (IS) within the organisation are being used to comply with the said obligations.

Task 4 - 20 Marks

Organisations are always keen to invest in new technologies. However, cost becomes a prohibitive factor. In this context: Discuss the strategy that your chosen organisation has in place, to acquire or update technological infrastructure Highlight how your chosen organisation attempts to reduce technology infrastructure costs and yet achieves the desired benefits.

Task 5 - 10 Marks

Critically discuss how the use of an appropriate information system (IS) can help a typical large organisation to attract new customers and increase its customer base. Name ONE (1) relevant IS and outline how it can prove beneficial to a typical business organisation (in terms of increasing customer base).
