Task 2: Programming Portfolio (60% of module marks) In section two of the assessment document you will find four computing problems relating to specific concepts of programming. You are to research each of these concepts (K2) in order to write a brief overview of the concept, and then you are to design (P2), implement and test a solution (C3) to each problem. Guidance Summarise your findings in a report. The report should not exceed the word limit and be written in a formal style, including an introduction and bibliography, consistent layout, appropriate technical language and evidence of proofreading must be used. Marks are available for presentation and use of bibliography. Any diagrams, references, code listings and headings are not included in the word limit, but tables are. Identify the word count of your report at the end of the report. You are advised to submit a draft of your report to your tutor two weeks before the hand in date. The draft should be no longer than 25% of the prescribed word limit.
