We were shown how to analyse and describe your tables. we should discuss changes within countries regarding:

population

mean income

equality.

Consider the rate of change as well as the direction of change. We should also compare things between your chosen countries to suggest convergence or divergence in living standards and quality of life. Any unusual changes could be pointed out and extra marks will be given if there is some awareness of the circumstances in your countries that might account for unusual changes in

particular.

"Politicians and economists seem to be obsessed with the GDP figure as an indicator of a country's success in providing for the well-being of its citizens. Critically discuss the effectiveness of GDP as an indicator of the well-being of citizens in a country. (you can refer to the situation in the countries you have examined to illustrate the points you make).
