Task 6: Managing challenging behaviors and behaviors of concern Task Description: This assessment activity provides the student with the opportunity to manage chailenging behaviours and behaviours of concern at a workplace The student must perform the following tasks in a disability support care setting o Student must demonstrate evidence to develop and maintain behavioural management plans. oThe student is required to have real interactions with the client and their carers/families to complete this task o The student must have access to individualised plans and other relevant resources, equipment and facilities mentioned on the individualised plans to complete this work placement task. o The student must provide positive support in at least three (3) different situations that include challenging behaviours or behaviour of concerns in the context of their job role.
