Taxes can be a touchy subject. No doubt we are all guaranteed 2 things in life - we will pay taxes and we will die. It is my belief the federal government is way too large. They spend way too much and we are not improving lives for our citizens. If it were up to me, slash all federal spending and only utilize it for the important programs that are too large for state control - Military, healthcare, science and research. Everything else should be held at the local level where it's people can vote on what money should be spent on - .education, infrastructure, welfare and senor citizen benefits. There are far too many people that take advantage of the welfare system and at the end of the day, the people who work hard and pay their taxes rarely see the benefits of those taxes they pay. It is also my belief that America is really good at sending it's money to everywhere but America. what is a good response to this post
