Idea name: Growers Club

Description: Buying quality food from our local supermarket or delivery chain is great and it's quick, But what about growing your own? As of now there isnt a good way for regular people to learn about crops and how to grow them.

Our application is a way for people to learn about what crops can be grown in their area, as well as learn about how to grow them and even order tools and supplies needed to sustain their nutritional needs. The application would include an option to get your soil tested to see what crops could be grown there well. Once we process your gardens test results, you will be notified about the most suitable crop seeds for your garden. It would then give instructions on the process of farming those crops to allow the users to grow their own food.

Feature list:

Database on crops, information on how to grow, gardening cycles and expected crop yield.

Forum for sharing information with other users about crop growth, and discussion.

Subscription services which offer free lab tests of soil to see which crops would grow best.

Without a subscription the lab test will have to be paid for

Suggestions on what plants to grow.

Problem idea solves: If someone were to want to grow their own crops, then they would face multiple challenges, from knowing how to grow crops, to knowing what kind of crops could even grow in their area, to as simple of an issue as getting the crops they want to grow. Our application would allow them one place where they could do all of that and more. Not only would it be an information database on growing crops, but it would also allow them to order the supplies needed like seeds and tools. All the progress can be easily shared with fellow farmers, all through a unified platform.

Target Market: Anyone ages 6 and up interested in gardening, immuno-deficient seniors.

How will it make money: Multi-tier subscription-based service featuring lab soil tests, expedited delivery, access to personalized seed ordering, ad-free access, life-time support.
