Teezan Company is the largest private employer, manufacturing machines in South Indonesia. Mr.Ali, a shift supervisor began working at Teezan Company as a machine operator and then was promoted as Quality Control Manager. Now, Mr. Ali manages 14 teams of machine operators. He is responsible for making sure that the workflow is smooth, that jobs are done on time, and that quality standards are maintained. He says that his job is to let his employees know that they are the most important people in the factory. If they don't do their jobs well, the business loses customers. And he wouldn't want to see that happen, as he needs his job to support his family and his home. But Mr. Ali faced a drastic problem two years back. This happened as soon as he took charge as quality control manager. As he was leading 14 teams of machine operator, he could not have a proper balance between these groups and a small issue relating to quality started which led to conflict between the team members which led to slow down of productivity. He took a smart decision of fixing target to each group related to quality and finalised incentives based on perfect quality and profitability of the company. He provided training to the needy team members too. Then the situation got controlled and the team members supported the company with high profit. Teezan Company is clean, brightly lit, and nice place to work and in a country where many people are poor, Teezan employees receive excellent salaries and benefits. If the cars that the employees buy need service, they are taken to the company garage and serviced free. Employees also get free medical treatment. And many of the female employees bring their children to work with them and keep them in the company's nursery. Teezan company has become famous as an excellent company to work for.
