Thanks in advance, I have submitted the precedence diagram below. I have seen this question posted already however, it was done differently, did not include the table that shows idle time. The OM that i have learnt so far is the Cycle time/ Assembly line so the method done here was very random. Hoping someone here has some experience with this method :)

Dr. Jones is the new appointed director of the Hospital. Since he took on this challenge, it was clear that the Emergency Room (ER) during the night shift had unacceptable queues and delays. This could be due to having only one resident doctor on duty, but Dr. Tarek knows that a process improvement of the ER operations is needed as well. The focus of his process improvement will be for the 1-3 am shift. The tasks in the Table below describe the current steps to process an incoming patient to the ER. Tasks Time (Min) | Predecessors A. Resident Doctor takes vital signs 5 B. Patient moves to bed 4 A C. Resident Doctor collects patient's medical 15 A history D. Patient directed to the right room & doctor 6 C E. Patient is released 5 G.H a) In case Dr. Jones wanted to keep the ER staffed by only one resident doctor during the 1 - 3 am shift, how many patients can be processed during that shift? What is the cycle time associated with this arrangement? b) Dr. Jones would like to increase the number of processed patients to 4 patients/shift. How many actual resident doctors he will need to achieve his target and what will be the time needed for every patient? What is the efficiency of this arrangement? c) In order to be able to process even more patients, Dr. Jones is ready to increase the ER team size to 5 resident doctors. Help Dr. Jones design a system that will process the maximum number of patients with 5 doctors. What is the efficiency of the new system?| 20 15 10 B E G 4 A D H I 15 12 5Step by Step Solution
