The accountant of Zul Co$.$ has prepared the following list of account balances as at

$31$ December $2023.$

NOTE:

$($A$)$ Sundry Expenses Include MUR$90,000$ pald in respect of Insurance for the year

ending $01$ September $2024.$ Light and heat does not Include an Involce at MUR

$30,000$ for electricity for the three months ending $02$ January $2024$ which was

pald in February $2024.$

$($B$)$ The suspense account is in respect of the following items:

$($C$)$ The property was acquired some years ago. The buldings element at the cost

was estimated at MUR $1,000,000$ and the estimated useful at the assets was

ifty years at the time of purchase. As at $31$ December $2023,$ the property is to

be revalued at MUR $8,000,000.$

$($D$)$ The plant which was sold had cost MUR $3,500,000$ and had a carrying amount

of MUR $2,740,000$ as on $1\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}23.$ MUR $360,000$ depreclation is to be charged

on Machinery for $2023.$

$($E$)$ The management wish to provide for:

I. Debenture interest due

II$.$ A transfer to general reserve at MUR $160,000$

III. Audlt fee of MUR $40,000$

$($F$)$ Inventory as at $31$ December $2023$ was valued at MUR $2,200,000($cost$)$

$($G$)$Taxaton is to be ignored.
