The aggrieved employee, accompanied by the steward, if the employee desires, shall consult with the employee's immediate supervisor and schedule a meeting within 14 calendar days. If a group of employees are involved in the grievance, the steward shall represent the employees. In any event, since it is in the best interest of all concerned that a grievance be promptly and expeditiously resolved, an aggrieved employee and/or the steward of the employee or employees involved, shall present such grievance as soon as reasonably possible following the event which gives rise to its occurrence, or after such employee and/or the steward of the employee or employees involved first acquired knowledge concerning such event, but in no event may a grievance be presented later than 14 calendar days following the event or when the employee and/or steward acquired knowledge of the event giving rise to the grievance. schedule changed over year ago and just found out that to accommodate another employee without seniority 4 days ago
