The aim of this assignment is to examine the macroeconomic performance of some key economies throughout the world using a few of the macroeconomic indicators we have studied. The assignment will also look into the way our central bank, the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has responded to the global economic fallout from the COVlD-19 pandemic and use the AD-AS model to examine such policy measures. As a guide, you will find the following chapters from your prescribed textbook, Hubbard et al.(2018) useful: Chapters 6, 10 8t. 12 and indirectly the concepts, definitions and discussions from Chapters 4, 7 & 8. Question 1 (i) Data collection and presentation (3 marks) Collect the following time-series data for the period (2010 to 2019 inclusive): - Real GDP growth rate (RGDP growth, annual %) - Inflation rate (consumer prices, annual %) - Unemployment rate (annual, % of labour force) for Australia, the United Kingdom (UK) and Spain.
