The average number of cans of creamed peas produced each day at a processing plant is 20,000. with a standard deviation of 2,300

What are the maximum number of cans that could be produced per day under these circumstances

I obtained a z score of 3.99 then used the formula x=mean + z times standard deviation

this led me to an answer of 29,177 as far as the maximum cans that could be produced. should i use this or just say 3 standard deviations above the mean is adequate for maximum capacity
