2. Property tax bills totaling $115,000 were sent. The county treasurer estimates that 2% of this
amount will not be collected. During the year, $100,000 of these were collected and $8,000 of
the delinquent taxes were collected.
3. Fines and license fees totaling $35,000 were collected during the year.
4. A purchase order in the amount of $45,000 was issued for two police cars. The cars were
received and the bill for $44,000. The bill was paid upon receipt.
5. Sales taxes of $4,000 were collected during the year from the state.
6. Expenditures during the year for salaries, supplies, and various other items were $70,000, and
charged to accounts payable. Accounts payable of $75,000 were paid.
7. The general fund transferred $20,000 to the debt service fund, which was used to pay interest
on bonds.
8. The general fund was billed $15,000 by the Utility Enterprise Fund, of which it paid $13,000.
9. Computer software having a cost of $2,000 was ordered, but not received before the end of the
year.
10. The supplies inventory was $3,500 as of December 31. Forager uses the purchase method of

11. As of December 31, the county treasurer estimated that $5,000 of the uncollected property
taxes would not be received 60 days before the end of the year.
12. Uncollected property taxes as of December 31 were reclassified as delinquent.
