The Beatles were listed by Rolling Stone magazine in 2004 as the Greatest Artist/Band of All Time. Or, "by that time" might be a better way to put it. Suppose that before the Beatles broke up, somewhere around 1970, John Lennon told Paul McCartney about a dream he (John) had in which an angel gave John the lyrics for a love song. John sang the lyrics to Paul as John remembered them from his dream, but nothing was done with the lyrics at the time. Now, also suppose that years after John's murder, Paul wrote a song using those exact lyrics, which he remembered, and Yoko Ono (John's widow and executor of John Lennon's estate) sued Paul for copyright infringement. Who wins and why?
