The best way to learn about project management is to actually participate in it, failing that, or to witness it. For that reason, the discussion board assignments are designed to serve two functions: 1) To enable students to share industry practices across disciplines; and 2) To encourage self-reflection on project management experiences. To accomplish this, I require students to select a study project to investigate. The "study project" should be selected and used in one of the following two ways: For students who are currently working in projects as managers or project team members, the discussion board question responses can be related to your current work.
