The brothers first came to Canada as temporary foreign workers and have both been working legally in Canada with a work permit for three years under the International Mobility program, and have performed the main duties on the lead statement and duties as they appear in the NOC, skill level A in their occupations. Leo has arranged employment with LMIA from his current employer for permanent full-time employment in the same job he had as a TFW. The brothers were tested for their language abilities. The brothers and Emma wrote the CELPIP-General 2014 in English test. After they received their test scores, they used the CRSlanguage calculator tool to determine the average score they can use for their EE application. Oliver and Leo scored highly on their language test in each of the reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills; their average score for their application is 8. Emma scored 7 in all language skills areas. The brothers suspect that they will end up with different scores because Oliver is married and Leo has a valid job offer.
