The business problem that was addressed in assessment two was about how the switch to hybrid working has impacted the quality of work and quality of life in organizations.

The results obtained were from a national survey of adult (18 years and above) full-time employees in the United States of America. These subjects were not self-employed exclusively.The results obtained were from a random sample of adults, who were selected by using probability-based random sampling methods.

Both were corrected for nonresponse by adjusting the sample for demographic components such as gender, age, race, Hispanic ethnicity, education and region. The weighting for demographics was done based on the latest Current Population Survey data of people aged above 18 years in the population of the united states of America.

There were four data sets that were as follows:

1)Engagement and Burnout Among Remote-Capable Employees, by Remote Work Status-This was a random sample of12,346 adults working full time for an employer, this including 7,213 who are remote capable employees i.e. those whose responsibilities can be completed remotely.This data was collected between February 3rd-14th 2022. The margin of sampling error is 1 percentage point for the full sample set and 2 percentage points for remote-capable employees at the 95% confidence level.

2)Pre-Pandemic Engagement and Burnout Among Financial Advisers, Insurance, Real

Estate Agents, Accountants, CPA and Auditors.-This was a random sample of adults working full time for an organization that was collected between September 3rd-16th 2019. The margin of sampling error is 1 percentage point at the 95% confidence level. 3) Weekly Manager Feedback Received by Employees, by Remote Work Status- This random sample of adults working full time for an organization was collected between October 2020 to January 2021. The margin of sampling error is2percentage points at the 95% confidence level.

4)The Advantages and Challenges of Hybrid Work-This was a random sample of8,090 adults working full-time and part-time for organizations was June 13th to 23rd 2022. The margin of sampling error is2percentage points at the 95% confidence level.

*Please note that themargins of error for subgroups are higher.

It is important to note that besides the sampling errors that occur in the data sets, the wording of survey questions and practical challenges that exist in the real world might inject bias or inaccuracies into the results of public opinion polls.

The main reason why the mentioned data sets were used is that the concept of hybrid work is a relatively new phenomenon and its adoption before the Covid-19 pandemic was mainly restricted to white-collar jobs in first-world advanced economies. Hence the United States of America was chosen for my research as it is the largest first-world advanced economy in the world, also it is here where there has been the highest penetration of hybrid working in the workforce pre covid due to the large influence that silicon valley has on the organizations in the nation. Hence I had chosen data which was collected by online questioners due to the high level of internet presentation in the country along with the ability of online questionnaires to be an efficient source of collecting information from people during the pandemic as other forms of outreach to them were not possible due lockdown restrictions.

Please help me describe the details of the sample I have chosen for the research design and the data collection technique that used and describe options for accessing this sample. Along with that please help with use of the appropriate formula for this.
