The Case

Fluffy and Bushy (F&B) is a US based veterinary clinic that treats animals. There are several clinics throughout the country.

They assign each clinic a clinic ID, and they need to store the clinics street address, state, and zip code. Each clinic has one or more employees assigned to each location. An employee can only be assigned to one clinic at any given time. If an employee changes clinic location, the system is updated to accommodate the change and no history is kept. F&B needs to keep track of each employees name (first and last only), and all phone numbers the employee can be reached. Each clinic has one employee who is also a manager. That employee can only manage the clinic they are assigned.

F&B clinics treat many animals. Each animal has an owner(s) that wants to have their animal treated. The animals can have multiple owners, in which case, the start and end date of each ownership should be recorded. The clinic needs to track each animals name, breed, color, and gender. For each owner, F&B needs to track their name (first and last), email, and address (street, state, zip). An animal can only be treated by one office. The clinic does not need to track any information regarding the cost of treatment or which employee treats the animal.
