The cash account of Windsor Co. showed a ledaer balance of $10,206.41 on June 20,2025. The bank statement as of that date
showed a bal ance of $10,790. Upon comparing the statemant with the cash records, the following facts were determined.
There were bank service charges for June of $65.
A bank memo stated that Bao Dai's note for $3,120 and intarest of $93.60 had bean collected on June 29, and the bank had
made a charge of $14.30 on the collaction. (No entry had been made on Windsor's books when Bao Dai's note was sent to the
bank for collaction.)
Recaipts for June 30 for $8,814 ware not depoaited until July 2.
Checks outstanding on June 30 totalad $5,553.73.
The bank had charged the Windear Co.'s account for a customer's uncallectible check amounting to $658.32 on June 29.
A customer's check for $234(as payment on the customer's Accounts Receivable' had besn entered as $156 in the cash
recaipts journal by Windear on June 15.
Checkno. 742 in the amount of $491 had besn entered in the cash journal as $419, and check no.747 in the amount of
$151.32 had been entersd as $1,513.20. Both chacks had been issued to pay for purchases and were payments on Windsor's
Accounts Payable.
