The Coastal Medical Center case study was a very interesting read because it reflects the contrasts and negative operational repercussions when an organization transitions from Transformational Leadership to Laissez-Faire Leadership. Mr. Wilson transformed CMC's diverse operations into a profitable organization consisting of an excellent revenue stream and a strong balance sheet; $52.5 million earned profit in 2016, (Harrison, 2020)
